What "rodent specialist" actually means
It is easy to write "specialist" on a website. Here is what it costs and what it buys, concretely.
We turn work away. Somebody calls about roaches and we do not take the job. That is a real revenue decision, made on purpose, and it is the whole reason the rest of this list is true.
We carry different materials. A generalist truck carries product. Ours carries steel mesh, hardware cloth, metal flashing, purpose-made vent and weep-hole screens, sealants that are backing material rather than the barrier, and the fasteners and tin snips to fit all of it. That is a builder's inventory, not an applicator's.
We spend our time in different places. The decisive part of a rodent job happens in an attic eave on your stomach, on a ladder at a soffit return, and on the ground tracing a slab edge behind a shrub. It is not comfortable and it is where the answer is.
We know the local building failures by name. Caliche and clay soils move here, and moving ground opens the slab edge. Attics run brutally hot, which pushes animals down into wall voids in summer. Fascia warps and lifts off the roof edge. Weep-hole covers are missing on half the brick homes in town. Pack rats fill AC condensers and engine bays. None of that is in a national training manual.

The method, in one paragraph
Inspect the whole building inside and out and find every way in. Trap the animals that are already inside and physically remove them. Close every entry point with material a rodent cannot chew — steel, not foam. Clean up the droppings, nesting and contaminated insulation, and neutralize the scent that advertises the building to the next animal. Come back and confirm it is dead quiet.
That is it, and the sequencing is the part people get wrong. Sealing and removal are not two separate chapters — they run together, because the shell gets closed while the animals inside are being trapped out and one-way exits let the rest leave on their own. Why we lead with sealing
Because treatment manages a condition and sealing ends it.
